About Us
Bridging Across Mountains is a 501(c) (3) non-profit committed to offering peer recovery services for individuals affected by substance use and mental health challenges. We’re focused on strengthening the community through peer support, family engagement, and education. We are proud to be a Recovery Community Organization serving the Hmong, Southeast Asian, refugee, and immigrant communities.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a thriving, inclusive community that embraces all pathways to recovery, focuses on the whole person, and ensures access to the support and resources needed to live a healthy, productive life.
Our Vision
Our vision is to transform our community by reducing stigma and addressing the disparities surrounding substance use disorder and mental health access in our community.

We Welcome All Paths to Recovery
At Bridging Across Mountains (BAM), we know that recovery looks different for everyone, and we honor and support all pathways to recovery. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where people can heal in a way that feels right for them. We’re here to provide support that respects your values, culture, and lived experience.
Ongoing Support
Creating Impact
We are dedicated to positively impacting our community by integrating culturally relevant practices that resonate with individuals. We create a supportive environment by employing language that reflects each person's unique background and engaging family members in the treatment process when appropriate. Our culturally specific care approach enhances the individual experience and increases engagement in treatment, ultimately leading to improved overall outcomes.

Fostering Community Connections
We are committed to establishing culturally specific peer support services to enhance treatment outcomes and provide critical resources to our community. These services create a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can feel truly understood and discuss their challenges. Such an environment encourages greater participation in the recovery process and nurtures deep, trusting connections among peers. Individuals sharing similar cultural experiences are more likely to open up about their struggles, leading to more effective support and healing.
